Spatial AI and ESG Camp 2025 Singapore

Following the success of the summer course on spatial AI technology and ESG jointly organised by SBBC and Mapxus Academy in Hong Kong in 2024, another workshop and ESG camp was conducted from Jan 16 to 22, 2025 in Singapore. A group of students travelled from Shanghai joined in this time. The focus of this course was to let the students to experience the award-winning spatial technology and its application in enhancing the social equality (S).

The students contributed to the acquisition of location data (map and positioning data updating) for the real barrier-free navigation (BFN) application in the Science Centre Singapore. Mapxus’ BFN and related applications are the winners of the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards in 2023 and 2024. The students also learned how to use Apple Maps Indoor Mapping Data Format to achieve the governance (G) of the spatial data and participated in the ESG activities in an interactive way through latest AI technology. Mapxus’ CEO, a renown environmental scientist was very kind to join in the capacity of a tutor to the student in the activity.
