Spatial AI and ESG Summer Camp 2024

A 5-day summer course on spatial AI technology and ESG was organised by SBBC jointly with Mapxus Academy on July 22-26, 2024 in Hong Kong. Students from Shanghai, Foshan, and Hong Kong learned the latest spatial technology including Apple's Vision Pro and Mapxus' barrier-free navigation, a system that enables accessibility and social equality in a smart city, in an interactive way through geo-information system and geospatial gaming applications. The students also visited Prof. Dennis Leung's research group of the University of Hong Kong and learned the latest development of CO2 reduction and fuse-cell battery technologies. 

We thank Prof. Leung and his PhD candidates for hosting the students' visit and sharing their latest green technologies. We were lucky to have Ms. Rachel Wong, the Champion of the 2022 Asian Triathlon Youth Championships, and Ms. Cindy Chen and Dr. Ray Hu, the engineering lead of Apple Maps and CTO of Mapxus Technology respectively to share with students their experience towards being successful in their young ages.
